Refund and Returns Policy

At Spillway Eco Resort, we strive to offer our guests a smooth and transparent booking experience.
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly, so our Refund and Returns Policy clearly explains how cancellations, refunds, and booking modifications are handled for stays at our resort in Maldevta, Dehradun.

Room Bookings and Reservation Policy

All bookings made through our official website, direct phone calls, or verified travel partners are subject to the following terms:

  • To confirm a reservation, guests may be required to make a partial or full advance payment depending on the booking type and stay dates.
  • Once your booking is confirmed, a confirmation message or email will be sent with details of your stay and payment.

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change. Guests can cancel their booking under the following conditions:

  • Cancellations made 7 or more days before check-in: Eligible for a full refund of the advance amount (after minimal transaction charges, if applicable).
  • Cancellations made within 4–6 days before check-in: Eligible for a 50% refund of the advance amount.
  • Cancellations made within 72 hours (3 days) of check-in: The booking becomes non-refundable.
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund will be provided.

Please note: Refund timelines depend on your payment method and may take 7–10 working days to reflect in your account.

Early Check-out or Shortened Stay

If you choose to check out earlier than your confirmed booking duration, the unused nights are non-refundable.

However, management may consider partial credit for future stays in exceptional cases (subject to availability and discretion).

Modifications and Date Changes

  • Guests can reschedule or modify booking dates at least 5 days before the check-in date without penalty, depending on room availability.
  • Any price difference for new dates (peak season rates, weekend surcharges, etc.) will apply.
  • For last-minute modifications (less than 5 days), standard cancellation terms will be followed.

Group Bookings or Event Cancellations

For group bookings, wedding events, or corporate retreats, the following terms apply:

  • Cancellations made 15 days or more before the event date: 75% refund of advance amount.
  • Cancellations made 7–14 days before event date: 50% refund.
  • Less than 7 days: Non-refundable, as arrangements and staffing are pre-booked.

In case of unavoidable natural calamities or government restrictions (e.g., heavy rain, landslides, lockdowns), refunds or rescheduling may be considered based on management review.

Refund Mode and Timeline

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for booking (credit/debit card, UPI, bank transfer, etc.).

Please allow 7–10 working days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

If you haven’t received your refund after 10 working days, please contact us directly.

Non-Refundable Conditions

The following are non-refundable under any circumstances:

  • No-show on the day of check-in without prior notice.
  • Early departure or unused nights after check-in.
  • Cancellations during peak seasons, long weekends, or holiday packages marked as “non-refundable” at the time of booking.
  • Discounts or promotional bookings once confirmed.
